Greater Manchester Police have today attended a Licensing Summary Review hearing for Manahatta, Deansgate. During the early hours of Saturday 1st November there was an incident of serious disorder inside Manahatta involving a group of customers. During the incident numerous glasses were thrown by customers, resulting in a female sustaining a serious head injury. The decision was taken by the MCC Licensing Committee not to suspend the Premises Licence pending a further final hearing, but numerous conditions were imposed, including the requirement to serve all drinks in plastic vessels only on Fridays and Saturdays. |
